Rapid Eye simulates the natural process you do every night in your sleep…

During a Rapid Eye Session the conscious mind is communicating with the subconscious mind creating a safe environment to let go of the energy attached to the stress or trauma. It says in laymen terms, “Oh that kept me alive when I was five years old, but I don’t need it now.”

The RET Technician uses an eye directing device to direct the eyes while the
client blinks rapidly. As the device moves back and forth in front of the eyes the client picks up the fast movement, replicating the “alpha/theta” brain wave state.

The RET Technician uses rapid spoken verbal communication to direct the release of core issues. During this process the eyes are rapidly blinking and releasing the energy of emotions, pictures, and memories. Many different eye movements, techniques and processes work to safely affect change in the whole. Processes include getting the body to walk through and experience new feelings. Spirit and light are included in the process to work on all layers and levels of healing. Most people respond wonderfully to this process and feel better immediately without reliving the trauma.

I have found Rapid Eye Technology (RET) sessions and life skills to be the best combination of tools for me to create new ways of thinking and living.

Although everyone’s journey is individual, there is a structure we follow to ensure you receive the most thorough release from your sessions. There are 6 basic sessions to introduce and teach the processes and to clear life and family patterns.

Many of our life patterns began during the birth process. During this time we may have developed beliefs in struggle, pain, not good enough, or darkness, to name a few. The Light Birth session is written to remind the system that we brought the light with us; we are not ever disconnected.

The Inner Child Work sessions work in the parts of our subconscious that continue to hold trauma from birth to 18 years old. We will also identify and address what your system does when you are afraid. Looking at old patterns that are no longer effective and helping your system develop new patterns may bring better results.

Once the foundation has been laid and many fundamental issues and beliefs held in the DNA have been processed, then individual current issues such as grief, fear, anger, blame, addictive patterns, self-esteem, and boundaries process more quickly.

Additional sessions include: Perception/Creation Walk, New Pattern Cycle Creation, Clearing for Unconditional Love, Chakra Balancing, Healthy Cells, and more.

Reiki (RAY-key)

Reiki, one of the more widely known forms of energy healing, is a process of laying on of hands that sends Ki or life force into the body working with the whole being, balancing the emotional and mental bodies, and promoting relaxation and the body’s natural ability to heal. Reiki healers receive initiations and training from a Reiki Master.
Sushila Mertens, Reiki Master, is honored to share Reiki and to pass the traditional Reiki healing to students who have the desire to learn. Be prepared for spiritual growth.

Sushila Mertens received First and Second Degree Reiki attunement and training in 1981 and 1982 from Reiki Master Mary McFadyen and Level III/IV Mastership from Reiki Masters Lynette Butcher and Lynell Beckstrom in 1999. Mary McFadyen received direct attunement from traditional Reiki Master Takata who brought the Usui system of the ancient Japanese teachings to the United States in the 70’s.
