Our friend Joy Anton is excited to offer a beginning meditation series in the Dragonfly Studio. We are also offering a unique opportunity for you to help us set up a date and time that’s right for you. Your feedback is needed! We will offer Friday evening or Sunday evenings starting in July. Outline of class offering:
BASICS:
- Four week series one evening per week
- 1.5 hours instruction & readings
- Practice and breathwork
- Moving meditation
PURPOSE:
- Learn sitting techniques
- Experience calm
- Connect with mind, body & heart
Joy has studied vipassana and shamatha meditation, balancing the mind, as a gateway to finding genuine happiness and compassion. She has been teaching yoga for 7 years, and practicing yoga for 28 years. Joy blends the practices of Iyengar ,Yin, Sivananda, Viniyoga, Vinyasa yoga and meditation into her classes, workshops and private yoga sessions.

We will practice strengthening poses for muscle & bone health, calming poses to reduce stress, and restorative poses for relaxation.
